What is Misunderstood Moments?

Misunderstood Moments is an awareness initiative by Lens of Youth. It collects real-life stories of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, each paired with original artwork to help others understand, connect, and build compassion. By experiencing these stories and artworks, participants are invited to embrace the Misunderstood Moments Pledge, fostering a community of kindness, inclusion, and understanding.
